i want to walk around downtown at night, arms linked with someone (anyone, really!), hot tea in my other hand. i want to feel the nippy cold on my cheeks and nose, but be super cozy in my giant sweater. i want to admire the lights hung up in the trees and all along the tree trunks. i want to smile at everyone who walks by.
That’s pretty much what I would like to do right now. But my walk would go a little more like this. I’d be walking around my little town.. hands in my sweatshirt pockets.. feel the almost numbing cold seep through the holes of my converse.. hold hands with the only person I can stand holding hands with.. sit in the park until we’re told that the parks closed. That sounds pretty nice right now.
